Role Overview
Own the full cycle of residential and light commercial plumbing: diagnose, estimate, repair, replace, and install. You’ll interpret plans and specs, plan around obstacles, and leave every site cleaner and safer than you found it.
Key Outcomes
• Rapid, accurate diagnostics on service calls with minimal callbacks.
• High-quality repairs and installations for water, steam, gas, chemical, and air systems, tested and verified.
• Expert blueprint/code interpretation and precise layout for assemblies, fixtures, valves, and appliances.
• Pro-level pipework: measure, cut, thread, bend, ream, and assemble with confidence.
• Clear, upfront pricing and documented customer approvals before work begins.
• Meticulous documentation, timely paperwork, and rock-solid time management.
• Clean, organized, fully stocked service vehicle; periodic inventory and truck inspections completed on time.
• Tools maintained to spec and used with a safety-first mindset.
• Customer education delivered after each service; satisfaction confirmed.
• Lead opportunities identified in line with business objectives.
• Consistent participation in weekly meetings and company-sponsored training.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience.
• Valid driver’s license; clean MVR.
• High school diploma or GED.
Environment & Schedule
• Field-based work with local travel.
• Typical exposures: sewer/water odors, power tool noise, dust, and job-site debris.
• Work in hot, cold, and otherwise extreme weather conditions.
• Extended hours may include daytime and evening shifts.
Physical Expectations
• Composed under stress; occasional tough conversations on site.
• Availability for extended hours, nights, and weekends when required.
• Frequent standing, walking, ladder and stair climbs.
• Routinely climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Maintain near, far, and peripheral vision with normal depth perception (with or without correction).
