This Privacy Policy explains how tradesppl ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use tradesppl.com and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form) when you register.
• Profile and career information: details you choose to add, such as your headline, bio, skills, work experience, education, certifications, resumes, and cover letters.
• Application data: the jobs you apply to, your application messages, and related activity.
• Employer data: company details, job listings, and billing information for paid plans.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as pages visited and device/browser type, used to operate and improve the Service.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• To connect job seekers and employers — for example, sharing your application, profile, and resume with the employer whose job you applied to;
• To send transactional emails required to operate the Service (verification, security, application updates);
• To send optional platform update emails — only if you opt in (see Section 4);
• To process payments for paid plans;
• To keep the Service safe, secure, and lawful.

We do not sell your personal information.

You can choose to receive occasional emails about new tradesppl features, free tools, and job board improvements. This is entirely optional: we ask for your consent at sign-up or in the app, we only use it to share updates about the platform, and we will not spam you. You can opt in or out at any time from your account settings, and every update email includes a way to unsubscribe.

We share personal information only:

• With employers or applicants as needed to provide the Service (e.g., an employer sees the applications made to their listings);
• With service providers that help us run the platform — such as cloud hosting, database and authentication, payment processing, and AI processing for features you invoke (e.g., AI resume or cover letter drafting). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security obligations;
• For legal reasons, if required to comply with law or protect the rights and safety of our users; or
• In a business transfer, if tradesppl is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We use cookies that are necessary to operate the Service (such as keeping you signed in) and preference cookies that remember your choices. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from the Service, except for records we are required to keep for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls that restrict data to the accounts it belongs to. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can view and edit most of your information directly in your account, and you can delete your account from your account settings. For anything else, contact us and we will help.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
