Industrial Painter & Welder

Job Pay: $25- $30 based on experience (increases after 90 days based on performance) Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Industrial Painter/Welder to maintain and restore our fleet of metal donation bins and collection boxes. The primary responsibility of this position is repainting the metal bins to keep them clean, professional, and in good condition. The ideal candidate will also have basic welding and metal-repair experience to complete occasional repairs involving doors, handles, hinges, latches, panels, and other components. We have hundreds of metal bins requiring ongoing maintenance, so we are looking for someone who can work independently, maintain a consistent pace, and take pride in producing quality work. Job Duties • Maintain an organized work area and properly store tools, paint, and supplies. • Prepare bins for painting by cleaning. • Apply primer and paint using available methods. • Repaint and restore bins according to company appearance and quality standards. • Inspect bins for damage before and after work. • Perform basic welding and metal repairs when needed. • Repair or replace damaged handles, hinges, doors, latches, panels, etc. • Move and position bins or materials using approved equipment. • Track completed bins, repairs performed, and materials used. • Notify management when a bin requires extensive repairs or replacement. • Always take appropriate safety measures & follow procedures to ensure your safety. Requirements • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation. • Previous painting experience is a must. • Welding experience is preferred but not a must. • Ability to properly prepare metal surfaces before painting. • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, sanders, grinders, and spray equipment. • Able to work independently and remain productive with limited supervision. • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. • Ability to work safely in an outdoor, warehouse, or shop environment.
