We work in an innovative industry, and our company has a fast-paced, entrepreneurial feel to it. Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across commercial and industrial settings. You will assist in the construction, maintenance and repair of solar PV systems. The electrical foreman will safely lead daily activities in the supervision and planning of electrical work. The Electrical Foreman position is primarily a supervisory role and it will also require stepping in and getting the job done at times. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association's code for electrical safety). This position offers an exciting opportunity to travel the South East and work on diverse projects, from repowering, systems, rooftop and ground mount systems, inverters, BESS and utility scale projects. This position will require you to travel and be out of town until the project is complete. Duties • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring adherence to NFPA 70 and NEC standards. • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. • Lead the installation of conduits & raceways both above and below grade. • Performing and supervising AC, DC, & LV installation, including terminations • Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or buildings. • Conduct routine maintenance on industrial electrical systems to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan. • Analyze production results. Ensure ongoing efforts are made to improve productivity. • Follow all electrical safety procedures to protect yourself and colleagues while working with low voltage or high voltage systems. • Install inverters and batteries and make sure the system is properly grounded. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical wiring, installation, or repair tasks efficiently. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution; read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise work. Experience • Active Tennessee electrical license. • Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. • Demonstrated ability to work with high-voltage electrical wiring safely and effectively on construction or renovation sites. • Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately while adhering to local electrical codes; strong attention to detail is essential. • 3+ years of commercial electrical experience and pulling permits. • Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license. • Equipment operation experience is a plus (excavator, track loader/skid steer, forklift). • OSHA 30 certification preferred, OSHA 10 required. • Fortitude to handle the elements, the ability to work outdoors all day in all seasons, lift >50lbs, bend, crawl, climb, and kneel. • Demonstrated critical thinking, organization and planning, prioritization and follow up-skills Benefits • Competitive Hourly Pay Rate (negotiable depending on experience) • Company cell phone or cell phone reimbursement • PTO/Holiday pay/Floating holidays • 401k with company match • Milage reimbursement • Per diem • Medical/Dental/Vision/Voluntary Insurances • $25k life insurance at zero cost to employee • Personal and professional training opportunities • Performance feedback and annual reviews Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) 4% Match • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave • Professional development assistance • Retirement plan • Safety equipment provided • Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
