(Service) - Journeyman Plumber / Gasfitter (Class B) or Apprentice

Maintain Mechanical Inc. is looking for a skilled and dependable plumber/gasfitter to join our Calgary-based service team. We are open to applications from Journeyman Plumbers/Gasfitters (Class B) as well as 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year Apprentices. Our team provides ongoing plumbing, heating, and mechanical service to residential, commercial, and multi-family properties throughout Calgary. If you enjoy troubleshooting, working independently, and having a varied day-to-day workload, this is a great opportunity to build your experience with an established mechanical company. What You'll Be Doing • Respond to plumbing and gas service calls • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, heating, and mechanical equipment • Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures and components • Service thermostats, zone valves, pumps, and other mechanical equipment • Assist with mechanical room servicing and building maintenance • Take part in domestic water and mechanical system shutdowns • Complete service documentation and maintain accurate job notes • Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and office staff • Participate in an on-call rotation when required What We're Looking For • Class B Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter or registered 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year Apprentice • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Professional communication and customer service skills • Comfortable working independently in the field • Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple service tasks • Experience with hydronic heating or mechanical systems is an asset • Positive attitude with a willingness to continue learning What We Offer • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications • Full-time, year-round employment • Monday to Friday schedule • Overtime opportunities • Health and dental benefits following the probationary period • Company RRSP matching program • Company vehicle available to qualified employees where applicable • Ongoing training and opportunities for advancement Position Details Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Location: Calgary, AB Work Setting: In person If you're looking for a long-term service position with a company that values quality workmanship, professionalism, and continued development, we'd like to hear from you.
