Welder/Fabricator Position in Alberta

Join a dynamic team as a Welder/Fabricator in Calgary, Alberta, focusing on Fluxcore welding and structural builds. This role emphasizes craftsmanship and precision in various welding techniques. In this position, your CWB Flat Fluxcore certification will guide your ability to build skids and frames, using your fitting skills and knowledge of blueprints. Experience with MIG wire welding and aluminum sheets is preferred, as you’ll engage in hands-on work with essential tools. Key Responsibilities: • Construct skids and structural frames according to specifications • Perform high-quality Fluxcore welding processes • Fit and weld structural components based on blueprints • Skillfully operate grinders and hand tools • Conduct stainless steel welding on heat exchangers Requirements: • CWB Flat Fluxcore ticket is mandatory • Experience in fitting and blueprint reading • GMAW knowledge is a plus • Willingness to register with Alberta Apprenticeship Board • Strong judgment and teamwork abilities Elevate your welding expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
