Plumbing Foreperson - Multi-Family

Job Description Are you a skilled Journeyman Plumber ready to take charge? Do you have extensive knowledge of plumbing and gas codes? Can you read and interpret mechanical, structural and architectural drawings? Do you have experience communicating with general contractors and sub-contractors? Alloy Mechanical Contracting is seeking a professional, motivated and safety-driven Plumbing Site Foreman to join our company. We are a small company with lots of opportunity for you to grow with us. Job Responsibilities: • Lead crews on multi-family residential projects • Oversee installation of plumbing, gas and hydronic systems • Coordinate schedules, materials and workflow to meet project deadlines • Ensure all work meets code, safety standards and company quality expectations • Train, mentor and support Apprentices and Journeyman • Extensive knowledge of plumbing, gas codes and piping above and below grade • Extensive knowledge on how to read and interpret drawings • Ability to complete interference drawings • Layout of systems based off of architectural and mechanical drawings • Manage mechanical subtrades Personal Skills: • Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise crews • Communicate effectively to upper management, general contractors and subtrades • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Reliable, professional and committed to high-quality workmanship • Ability to read blueprints and work independently • Valid driver’s license • Willing and able to work overtime if needed • Willing and able to work weekends if needed Job Types: • Multi-Family Residential Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour Benefits: • Company car • Company events • Dental care • Disability insurance • Extended health care • Life insurance Education: • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) Experience: • Foreman: 5 years (required) Licence/Certification: • Journeyman Ticket (required) Location: • Calgary, AB (required) Work Location: In person
