Job Description

Electrical Service Lead Electrician — Burlington, NC area Our client, a well-established electrical contractor, is hiring a Lead Electrician for their electrical service division. This is a hands-on lead role for an experienced journeyman-level electrician who can run service calls independently, troubleshoot with confidence, and help coach the electricians and helpers around them. What you'll be doing: • Run dispatched service calls across residential, commercial, and industrial customers in a company vehicle • Inspect, install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to NEC and safety code • Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and perform installs from technical diagrams and specs • Maintain your service vehicle inventory and process/close out service orders • Coach and direct Service Electricians and Helpers as needed • Communicate with customers professionally — you're the face of the company on every call • Periodic weekend/holiday emergency on-call rotation What they're looking for: • 5–7 years of broad journeyman-level electrician experience • Strong NEC knowledge and application • Proficient with service tools and testing devices • Able to work independently and productively within established procedures • Valid driver's license, own hand tools, high school diploma Nice to have: Limited Electrical License, generator experience, motor controls, and relay logic/troubleshooting ability. This is service work — expect ladders, crawl spaces, attics, weather, and lifting up to 100 lbs on occasion.
