Humboldt’s main office is based in Saskatoon, with an expansion office in Regina. The Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of electrical systems and construction management. In this role, you will: • Supervise and coordinate electrical installation projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. • Review project plans and specifications, including schematics and blueprints, to ensure accurate execution of electrical work. • Utilize construction management software such as Procore for project tracking and documentation. • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations. • Collaborate with other trades and contractors on-site to facilitate smooth project execution. • Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. • Prepare reports on project progress, challenges, and resolutions for stakeholders. What you will bring: • Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician • Proven experience in supervising electrical teams within the commercial construction industry. • Proficiency in electrical layout, blueprint reading, and understanding of schematics. • Familiarity with quality control processes and safety regulations in electrical work. • Experience using construction management software such as Procore or similar tools. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. • Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
