Warehouse / Forklift Operator (AM Shift) - DFW Texas

Providing this flexibility drives value to their supply chain. ACT2 Services is looking for a highly motivated AM Warehouse / Forklift Operator to work the shift listed. Shift: Monday-Friday, 7AM – 3:30PM (Weekends as Needed). Pay: $23.00 per hour Essential Job Functions: • Adhere to all safety rules and communicate any safety issues or property damage immediately to a supervisor or manager. • Loading and unloading LTL and FTL trucks, receiving cargo, labeling shipments, staging freight in designated warehouse areas, and performing general warehouse duties. • Wear a safety vest at all times while on duty. • Transfer and move cargo within our warehouse, offload and load trucks with cargo. • Check documentation for accuracy in reference to cargo being handled. • Unload and verify receipt of all manifested cargo while notating any deviations in • cargo manifested against the cargo received. Separate and store in specified import locations. • Perform inventories of import cargo, as required, and generate manifest for export cargo. • Print labels for outbound and report any discrepancies to Lead or Supervisor. • Receive, verify piece counts, check/confirm weight, check for damage, and take dimensions of export cargo. • Scan copies of documents into server files. • General housekeeping in warehouse, maintenance and ramp areas, empty trash cans. • Communicate to lead or supervisor materials/equipment needs, based upon supplies on hand and equipment operation, including reporting on defective, disabled equipment. Experience / Requirements: • A minimum of one year previous experience warehouse/forklift operator. • Prior Forklift experience a must. • High School Diploma or GED required. • Must be bilingual (English and Spanish). • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in both English and Spanish. • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • Proven attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
