Electrician Lead
Must live within 45-50 minutes of White House TN
Must have Valid Drivers License
Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug test
Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors on multiple job sites
• Manage manpower allocation and labor productivity to meet project schedules and budgets
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, one-lines, schedules, and construction documents
• Coordinate installation of commercial and industrial electrical systems including:
• Switchgear
• Distribution equipment
• Conduit systems
• Lighting systems
• Motor controls
• Service installations
• Generators and backup systems
• Ensure all work is installed in accordance with NEC requirements, local codes, project specifications, and company standards
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections for safety, workmanship quality, and project progress
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and tool requirements
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and rework
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, manpower tracking, progress updates, and change documentation
• Work directly with project management to forecast labor needs, schedule activities, and maintain project timelines
• Coordinate inspections and maintain positive working relationships with customers, general contractors, engineers, and AHJs
• Mentor and develop field personnel while promoting professionalism, teamwork, and accountability
• Participate in project meetings and provide field input regarding scheduling, logistics, and constructability
• Assist with project startup, commissioning, punch list completion, and closeout activities
Qualifications
• Minimum 7 years of commercial and industrial electrical experience
• Previous leadership experience as a Lead Electrician
• Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial/industrial electrical installation methods
• Ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with large electrical services, distribution systems, conduit installation, and equipment coordination
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and electrical drawings
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety requirements and OSHA standards
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in the field
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
