Journeyman Electrician

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships JOB SUMMARY The Journeyman Electrician's primary duties are to plan, layout, install and/or repair cable, conduit and equipment. This position will report to Foreman or Superintendent or other designated field leaders. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • High School diploma or GED. • Valid NC JW License KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES • Must be able to read and interpret drawings and instructions • Must be able to positively identify wire colors and sizes • Must have a working knowledge of NED and common trade procedures and standards • Must be able to perform work safely with required PPE • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. • Must be able to climb and work off ladders and other elevated surfaces such as lifts • Must possess the minimum required tools for SE&M • Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Installation of electrical panels, transformers, disconnects, switch boards, and other electrical equipment. • Pulling wire and terminating • Conduit bending, cutting, threading and installation • Trouble shoot and repair electrical systems • Install light fixtures and devices COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Company paid term life insurance and AD&D coverage • 401k retirement plan with employer match. • Competitive Pay Additional Information • Background check, MVR and drug screen will be required. • Equal Opportunity Employer Everus Construction Group, Inc. and our subsidiaries do not work with any third-party recruiters or agencies without a valid signed agreement and partnership with the Corporate Human Resources Team.
