Welder / Machinist Location: Calgary, Alberta Job Type: Full-Time Pay: Negotiable Schedule: Mon - Friday (40 hours) About the Position We are looking for a skilled and dependable Welder / Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, machining, fabrication, repairs, and general shop duties while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety. Responsibilities • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as required. • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and measurements. • Set up and operate manual machining equipment such as lathes and mills. • Fabricate, repair, and modify metal components and equipment. • Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools. • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment when required. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Qualifications • Previous welding and machining experience. • Ability to read technical drawings and work from measurements. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Welding or machining certification preferred. • Experience with CNC equipment.
