Weld Overlay / Inlay Welder — Midland, TX

Job Summary ASAP Industries is seeking an experienced Weld Overlay / Inlay Welder for our Midland, Texas facility. This is a specialized welding position focused on inlay and overlay welding of stainless steel and Inconel for oilfield applications. This is not a structural welding, fitter, or tack-welding position. The successful candidate must be an experienced, hands-on welder capable of producing consistent, high-quality work while following applicable procedures and maintaining a strong focus on safety and workmanship. Candidates should currently reside within reasonable commuting distance of Midland, Texas, or be willing to permanently relocate to the area at their own expense. Core Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of relevant welding experience, including weld inlay and overlay work • Previous hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, FCAW, and SAW welding processes is required • Experience welding stainless steel and Inconel in oilfield or similar industrial applications • Able to independently perform welding work to required specifications and maintain consistent weld quality • Oilfield welding experience highly preferred • Self-motivated, dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively with minimal supervision Benefits • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance • Benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment • 401(k) with company match • Paid Time Off • Paid major holidays • Biweekly pay Location & Relocation This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position at our Midland, Texas facility. Qualified out-of-area candidates willing to permanently relocate to the Midland area at their own expense will be considered. Relocation timing will be discussed on a case-by-case basis during the hiring process. Company-paid relocation assistance, housing, and per diem are not provided. Candidates must be able to pass the company’s standard pre-employment physical examination and drug screening.
