Now Hiring: Combo Welders, Pipefitters, Welders Company: Taylor’s Mechanical & Piping Solutions, LLC Location: Texas City / Galveston County / Houston Area Job Type: Full-Time / Project-Based Pay: Based on experience and welding ability Taylor’s Mechanical & Piping Solutions, LLC is looking for an experienced Combo Welder / Pipefitter to join our team. We perform industrial mechanical work, piping, welding, fabrication, equipment installation, and repair work throughout the Houston, Texas City, Galveston, and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone dependable, safety-minded, and experienced in field work. Responsibilities The Combo Welder / Pipefitter will be responsible for: • Fitting and welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and process piping • Reading basic drawings, layouts, measurements, and field sketches • Performing TIG, Stick, and MIG welding as needed • Cutting, grinding, prepping, fitting, and installing pipe • Working on industrial piping, mechanical systems, valves, tanks, pumps, and equipment • Performing field fabrication and repair work • Following jobsite safety rules and company procedures • Keeping work areas clean and organized • Working with supervisors and other crew members to complete jobs safely and efficiently Requirements Applicants should have: • Experience as a combo welder, pipe welder, or pipefitter • Ability to weld and fit pipe in the field • Experience with TIG, Stick, and/or MIG welding • Ability to pass a weld test if required • Basic hand tools • Reliable transportation • Ability to work in industrial environments • Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work around equipment as needed • Dependable attendance and good work ethic • Must be able to follow safety procedures • Problem Solving Skills Preferred Qualifications Preferred but not required: • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 • TWIC card • Houston Area Safety Council / HASC training • Experience working at plants, refineries, government facilities, or commercial/industrial jobsites • Pipefitting layout experience • Stainless steel and carbon steel welding experience • Experience with pumps, valves, tanks, platforms, and mechanical equipment What We Offer • Competitive pay based on experience • Steady industrial and mechanical work • Small company environment • Opportunity to grow with the company • Variety of field and shop-type work • Local work throughout the Houston/Galveston County area How to Apply To apply, contact Taylor’s Mechanical & Piping Solutions, LLC.
