Experienced Finishing Carpenter

Lovegrove Construction & Design Carpenter $25-$40 per hour Lovegrove Construction & Design prides ourselves on attention to detail, superior workmanship and ultimate customer satisfaction during the process of building high-end custom cottages and homes. Key Responsibilities: • Carpentry and finish carpentry duties as required by supervisor • Fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware • Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood with precision • Maintaining cleanliness of work space • Provide direction and mentorship to carpenter’s helpers and labourers • Communicate effectively with supervisor and support labour Skills and Abilities: • Sound knowledge of finish carpentry aspects in residential construction • Ability to read and interpret blueprints • Reliable and adaptable • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Must have good communication and listening skills • Ability to solve project problems and maintain high standards Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent or enrollment in a co-op or Apprenticeship Program • Driver’s license • Working at Heights, WHMIS training is an asset General Information: • Permanent Full-Time • 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday - Overtime may be required occasionally • Must own basic hand tools, safety equipment and transportation • Benefits available after qualification period • Please be sure to review our website prior to submitting resume • Pay is based on skill and experience • This position supports a team with a sustained workload extending three years out Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental care • Extended health care • Vision care Work Location: In person
