Skilled Welder Day/Night Shift Position

Join Compass as a skilled Journeyman Welder! We're hiring for both Day and Night Shifts, where your welding expertise will contribute to innovative energy solutions. In this role, you’ll report to the Foreman and Lead Hand, providing high-quality welding for compressor components. Your expertise in FCAW and SMAW will be essential as you interpret blueprints and comply with quality standards. With a focus on both safety and quality, you’ll be responsible for maintaining work standards and contributing to our Quality Control Program. Key Responsibilities: • Fit and weld compressor skids and components • Operate welding machines and tools efficiently • Ensure adherence to written and verbal instructions • Engage in the safety program and participate in inspections • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of work areas Requirements: • Valid Journeyman Welding Ticket required • CWB certification in FCAW & SMAW necessary • Own tools must align with the Compass Tool List • Must have fitting experience, a strong asset • Capable of working in a varied shop environment Showcase your welding skills and experience with Compass—apply today!
