Welders

Welder/ Tank Fabricator Hamilton Tanks has an immediate opening for experienced MIG/Stick welder . Experience with fabricating tanks and welding from drawings is required. A successful candidate will be able to utilize appropriate welding techniques , weld stainless and aluminum steel , and the candidate must be able to operate all types of fabrication equipment from shears to press brakes . The welder will report directly to the shop supervisor. The current work schedule is day shift , 50 hours per week. Working Conditions: • Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, vibration, odo rs or dust. • Ambient temperatures • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts Qualifications/Skills: • Experience as a welder or in a related field, required • Competency at readin g and interpreting blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams • Ability to work with basic hand tools. • Perform heavy lifting (75lbs) , frequent stooping or bending • Ability to comply with all work -related deadlines • Must pass welding test • Ability to pass background check , drug te st, and fit for duty test • Good time -management skills • Must follow safety rules, regulations and safe job procedures Benefits: • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Paid Time Off • Short and Long Term Disability • 401K • Paid Holidays If youre interested in this position please submit a current resume or y ou may also apply in person at 2200 Refugee Road, Columbus, Ohio 43207.
