We are looking to hire hard-working and committed individuals who will contribute to our team of experienced personnel by bringing a willingness to learn and an entrepreneurial spirit to every project. We are currently looking for Commercial Pipefitters of all levels to join our team in Calgary!
Competitive Journeyperson wage of $44.25 per hour
Additional 10% Vacation and Statutory Holiday pay
RRSP contributions of $1.63 per hour worked
Make detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation
Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves and fittings
Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
Select type and size of pipe required
Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
Test system for leaks using testing equipment
Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
Mentor and train apprentices
Ability to prioritize workloads and utilize planning & time management skills to adhere to strict deadlines
Ability to work alone or as part of a work crew
Ability to complete work and meet deadlines with little supervision
Installation, maintenance, and repair skills.
