Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects such as renovations, new construction, and system upgrades, utilizing your knowledge of high-voltage wiring, electrical schematics, and industrial electrical systems. Responsibilities • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools and power tools. • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations. • Perform electrical diagnostics to identify faults or issues within complex industrial electrical systems. • Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring work safely following NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) guidelines and local electrical codes. • Maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures during all phases of installation and repair work. • Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to measure resistance and verify circuit integrity. • Collaborate with project teams on construction sites to ensure timely completion of electrical installations in renovation or new build projects. Experience • Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings with a strong background in industrial electrical systems. • Commercial electrician experience is highly desirable, especially in construction or renovation projects. • Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes is essential. • Hands-on experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints related to low voltage and high voltage systems. • Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. • Experience working on high-voltage wiring projects safely within industrial environments. • Construction site experience combined with knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, frame carpentry skills, and handyman experience is advantageous for this role.
