Welder (Shop & Field)

JPR Industries is looking for a Welder to join our shop and field team. This role is for someone who takes pride in clean fit-up, strong welds, and building work that lasts. You’ll be working on structural steel, custom fabrication, and agricultural/material-handling components that support feed mills and large ag operations across Southern Alberta. • Fabricate and weld structural steel and custom assemblies in a shop environment • Read and work from drawings, cut lists, and measurements • Fit, tack, weld, and finish parts to spec (MIG/FCAW/SMAW depending on the job) • Operate common shop equipment (saws, grinders, drills, ironworker, etc.) • Work with the team to meet production targets without sacrificing quality • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe • Follow internal QC practices and contribute to continuous improvement • Welding experience (CWB certified preferred) • Strong fit-up and attention to detail • Pride in workmanship and reliability • CWB tickets (or the ability to obtain) • Experience with structural steel manufacturing and agricultural equipment • Forklift/telehandler experience and valid tickets • Experience working within COR/WCB-driven safety environments • Steady shop-based work with a team that values craftsmanship • Clear expectations and straightforward communication • A family-style culture where people look out for each other • Opportunities to grow as the company expands manufacturing and new construction capabilities Shaughnessy, Alberta (Shop-based role) JPR Industries Inc. 224 Donaldson Ave, Shaughnessy, AB, T0K 2A0, Canada Mon–Fri 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM Sat By Appointment Sun Closed sales@jprindustries.com +1 403 694 0242
