Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking experienced Rig Welders to support upcoming work at CNRL. Key Responsibilities • Perform GTAW and SMAW welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems. • Complete pipe fit-up, spool fabrication, and welding in accordance with project specifications. • Read and interpret isometric drawings and welding procedures. • Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules and client requirements. • Ensure welding equipment and rig are maintained in safe working condition. • Follow all site safety policies, procedures, and regulations. • Work collaboratively with supervisors, pipefitters, and other trades on site. Qualifications • Alberta Journeyperson Welder Certificate. • Interprovincial Red Seal Certification considered an asset. • Must provide a fully equipped welding rig suitable for industrial site work. • Strong GTAW and SMAW alloy welding experience required. • F3/F4 SMAW Certification. • F6 GTAW Certification. • F6/F5 Stainless GTAW and Stainless SMAW experience. • F4X/F4X Inconel GTAW and Inconel SMAW experience. • CWB SMAW Certification considered an asset. • Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job Details • Project: CNRL • Schedule: Rotation details to be provided during the hiring process. • Employment Type: Full-Time, Project-Based with additional scopes with long term work • Compensation: Competitive rates
