Journeyman or Master Service Plumber – Commercial & Residential

Overview WTR Companies is seeking an experienced and dependable Journeyman or Master Plumber to join our team. This full-time position will handle both commercial and residential plumbing service, repair, and installation. We are looking for a licensed professional with strong troubleshooting skills who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and take ownership of service calls from diagnosis through completion. Responsibilities • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems. • Troubleshoot leaks, drain issues, water supply problems, fixtures, valves, water heaters, and other plumbing-related concerns. • Install and replace plumbing fixtures, piping, water heaters, and related components. • Perform drain cleaning and general plumbing service work. • Complete preventative maintenance and plumbing inspections as needed. • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment. • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and recommendations for additional repairs. • Clearly communicate findings and repair recommendations with customers. • Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area. • Follow company procedures and applicable safety and plumbing code requirements. • Participate in an on-call rotation as required. Qualifications • Current Texas Journeyman Plumber or Master Plumber license required. • Previous plumbing service experience required. • Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing strongly preferred. • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills. • Working knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and requirements. • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage service calls. • Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, businesses, and other customers. • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and carrying plumbing equipment and materials. • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. • Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
