Pipefitter/Benchfitter- Fabrication shop

Kootenay Industries is looking for an experienced Pipefitter/Bench fitter for day shift. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Must have experience reading and interpreting isometric drawings. • Knowledge of material grades. • Working with both stainless and carbon steel • Capable of tacking fittings and pipe ranging from 1/2''-30'' OD. • Ability to fit spools in the proper sequence for roll welding • Flame cut holes for attachments on pipe wall • Maintain a safe work environment • Participate in safety and company programs • Follow work practices and procedures QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIANCE • Journeyman trade certificate • 2+ years of experience in a fabrication shop required • Working with stainless steel is an asset • Use of a hand plasma • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work independently or as part of a team Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Additional pay: • Overtime pay Benefits: • Dental care • Extended health care • Vision care Flexible language requirement: • French not required Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Overtime • Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: • Calgary, AB T2C 4L7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person
