Residential Electrical Apprentice – New Home Construction Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Residential Electrical Apprentices for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Indian Trail, NC. Excellent entry-level opportunity to build your electrical skills and grow into a long-term career with a reputable residential electrical contractor! PAY: $16.00–$20.00/hour, based on experience HOURS: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, approximately 40+ hours/week START DATE: ASAP DURATION: Temp-to-hire / potential permanent placement Residential Electrical Apprentices will assist licensed electricians on ground-up new home construction projects. Responsibilities may include: • Running residential electrical wiring • Assisting with panel installations • Installing light fixtures and electrical devices • Supporting rough-in and trim-out phases • Using hand and power tools safely • Maintaining clean and organized worksites • Following all safety procedures and instructions This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their electrical career who is motivated to learn, develop their skills, and grow long-term within the electrical trade. Qualifications • Less than 2 years of residential electrical experience • New home construction experience or exposure preferred • Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a crew • Strong willingness to learn and develop electrical skills • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious • Ability to safely use hand and power tools and required PPE • Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, kneel, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Requires proper use of PPE: Steel-toe boots, safety vest, hard hat, gloves, and safety glasses Tools Required • Side cutters • Dikes • Impact drill • Screwdriver set • Level • Hacksaw • Channel-lock pliers Additional Requirements • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Must have reliable transportation to the job site SST IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER!
