Company Description Climatech Inc., headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, is a full-service HVAC/R company serving commercial, multi-residential, industrial, and institutional clients across the GTA and the Golden Horseshoe. The company provides maintenance, demand service, design/build, renewals, new installations, and 24/7/365 emergency service. Climatech focuses primarily on maintenance services and continually seeks new maintenance clients to support long-term equipment performance and reliability. The company does not perform greenfield construction, allowing its team to specialize in existing building systems and ongoing service relationships. Role Description This full-time, on-site HVAC Technician 313A with G1 role is based in Brampton, ON. The technician will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of HVAC/R systems in commercial, multi-residential, industrial, and institutional facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, conducting preventive maintenance, completing service calls, and ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. The role also involves communicating clearly with clients, documenting work performed, coordinating with dispatch and management, and supporting 24/7/365 service operations as required. Qualifications • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, including Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance for HVAC/R systems. • Practical knowledge of Electricity and electrical safety as it relates to HVAC/R equipment. • Experience with Plumbing work associated with HVAC/R systems, including piping, drainage, and related components. • Understanding of EPA or equivalent environmental regulations and safe handling of refrigerants. • Valid Ontario 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license and G1 Gas Technician certification. • Proven ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manufacturer specifications. • Strong safety mindset and adherence to company and regulatory safety procedures. • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a service team. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for travel to client sites within the GTA and Golden Horseshoe. • Previous experience in commercial or industrial HVAC/R service is an asset.
