Electrical Helper (Apprentice) – Residential New Home Construction Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Electrical Helper (Apprentice) for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Indian Trail, NC. Excellent opportunity for someone with residential electrical experience who is looking to build a long-term career and advance in the electrical trade! PAY: $17.00–$20.00/hour, based on experience HOURS: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, approximately 40+ hours/week START DATE: ASAP DURATION: Temp-to-permanent Electrical Helper (Apprentice) Job Description The Electrical Helper (Apprentice) will assist licensed electricians on ground-up new home construction projects. Duties include running residential wiring, assisting with panel installation, installing light fixtures, supporting rough-in and trim-out phases, maintaining clean worksites, and following all safety procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their electrical career who wants to gain hands-on experience, develop their skills, and advance into a long-term career in the electrical trade. Qualifications • Minimum 6 months–1 year of residential electrical experience required • Must have a strong desire to advance and build a long-term career in the electrical trade • Less than 2 years of residential electrical experience • Experience or exposure to new home construction preferred • Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a crew • Willingness to learn and develop electrical skills • Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and punctual • Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE • Must be able to perform job duties requiring standing, bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted PPE Required • Steel-toe boots • Safety vest • Hard hat • Work gloves • Safety glasses Tools Required • Side cutters • Dikes • Impact drill • Screwdriver set • Level • Hacksaw • Channel-locks Additional Requirements • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Must have reliable transportation to the job site SST IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER!
