Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled B Pressure Welder, an Apprentice Welder, and a Shop Hand to join our manufacturing team. This position offers an opportunity to develop welding expertise while supporting various shop operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with welding techniques, and experience with manufacturing and construction environments. All roles are paid positions, providing valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities • Perform MIG TIG STICK welding on various metal components, including Piping and structural elements • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication and assembly • Operate and maintain shop tools such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment • Assist with rigging, lifting, and positioning materials using cranes or forklifts to facilitate fabrication processes • Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met • Support assembly of components according to schematics and specifications • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times • Assist in the setup and operation of machinery involved in manufacturing processes Requirements • Prior experience or familiarity with MIG welding, TIG welding, Stick welding, plasma cutting, and blueprint reading is preferred; however, training will be provided for apprentices • Mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly, ductwork fabrication, and construction is advantageous • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely • Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes • Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings is beneficial • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills within the welding and manufacturing industries while contributing to high-quality project completion.
