As a Carpenter at Hopewell, you'll collaborate directly with the Site Manager, engaging in tasks that require strong problem-solving and spatial awareness. Your work will consist of interpreting blueprints, constructing frameworks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and repair wooden and structural components
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Perform layouts, measurements, and volume calculations
• Operate tools and equipment safely on-site
• Ensure a safe and organized project site
Requirements:
• Journeyman status or registered apprentice
• 1-5 years experience in commercial construction
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Certifications like First Aid, CSTS, and WHMIS are a plus
