Electrician Job at HireQuest Direct in Nashville

JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description We are seeking an Electrician for a new customer, responsible for electrical installation, system maintenance, and troubleshooting on construction sites. This role requires strong technical expertise and a commitment to safety, with occasional on-call and night work. You will be reporting directly to the Project Manager and collaborate closely with the site supervisor and other team members. Responsibilities * Perform electrical installations and system maintenance using standard electrical tools * Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime * Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and compliance standards * Be available for on-call assignments and occasional night work as required * Collaborate effectively with a team and other construction personnel * Report progress and issues to the Project Manager and Site Supervisor Required Qualifications * Proven experience supported by a strong resume and references * Clean background check and 10 panel drug screening * Willingness to work nights and be on call when necessary Preferred Qualifications * 3+ years of electrical work experience * Relevant technical certification or completed apprenticeship * Knowledge of electrical wiring, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting * Strong understanding of safety compliance * Demonstrated team leadership and effective communication skills * Previous experience as an electrician estimator or project manager Company Description About HireQuest Direct HireQuest Direct is a nationwide staffing company specializing in construction, light industrial, hospitality, and event staffing.
