Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and/or residential plumbing systems. Key Responsibilities
• Review blueprints, building codes, and schematics to plan plumbing installations or repairs.
• Install, maintain, and repair pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and clear obstructions from water and sewer lines.
• Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and electricians on larger projects.
• Adhere strictly to current Texas plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Provide clear explanations and upfront, honest estimates to clients (if residential/service-focused).
Qualifications & Requirements
• License: Must possess a valid Journeyman Plumber License issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).
• Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience working as a licensed plumber or completed apprenticeship.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Texas plumbing codes, blueprints, and residential/commercial plumbing systems.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and handle the physical demands of the trade.
• Driver's License: Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record (for operating company vehicles).
• Tools: Must have standard hand tools of the trade.
