Restoration Carpenter

Carpentry Position Summary: The individual will need to be willing to travel and work a variety of shifts to accommodate the schedules of our projects. We are specifically looking for individual that are versed in carpentry skills and is a multi-talented individual that has experience in the field. Location: Toronto (GTA), Niagara, Windsor, London. Occasionally, Ottawa. Salary: $40.00 per hour Education: • Minimum requirement of high school diploma Requirements • 5 plus years of carpentry Languages • English is required • Albanian is an asset Requirements • Owns a basic tool set and can work hand and power tools competently & safely • Performs general carpentry work in the alteration, repair and maintenance of buildings, floors, roofs, stairways, partitions, doors, windows, wooden fixtures, furniture, concrete forms, balcony restorations, balcony structures, etc. • Build foundations, install supports/beams, lay subflooring and erecting walls/support structures and roof systems. • Ability to read and interpret floor plans, construction drawings and assembly instructions. • Demonstrated leadership abilities. • Health & Safety focused. • Organized individual with the ability to professionally and efficiently handle multiple tasks on various projects. • Eye for detail, with problem solving & team focused skills • Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills Own tools/ Equipment • Tools • Safety equipment/gear • Steel-toed safety boots • Hard Hat • Gloves Working condition and Physical Capabilities • 40 hours per week Monday to Friday • Handling heavy loads • Physically demanding • Standing for extended periods • Bending, crouching, kneeling Benefits • None Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: • Markham, ON L3R 1G3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): • Are you of Indigenous background or considered a vulnerable youth?
