WorleyCord Teamco Ltd., a subsidiary of WorleyCord Lp., is seeking: Structural Steel- Rig Welders To work at our Suncor Firebag 4.5 Project in the Fort McMurray area SALARY: Up to $129.92 per hour START DATE: Aug 31st 2026 SCHEDULE: 14 days on, 7 days off HOURS PER DAY: 10 hours per day PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday) SHIFT: Dayshift ACCOMODATIONS: Camp TRAVEL: based on location DURATION: 12 months+ WORK SCOPE: Brownfield Working Conditions: Full-time, Employee benefits provided by OpenCircle Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions Requirements: • Must have a valid Red Seal Journeyperson ticket and Alberta B Pressure ticket • Carbon Steel weld experience • Must have large bore experience • Must possess a current F6-F5 Ticket • Must possess a current CWB Ticket • Must provide valid AB 76 Form for each ticket current within last 6 months or provide proof of continuous welding experience • CSTS 2020 Certification • WHMIS2015 • ESC Elevated Work Platform is considered an asset • ESC Fall Protection is considered an asset • ESC Confined Space • ESC H2S Awareness • ESC Wood Buffalo Awareness • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision Responsibilities • Develop and or interpret patterns and blue prints. • Perform different welding processes and fillers depending upon the type of metal, its size and shape, and requirements for finished product strength. • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using different processes. • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment. • Operate brazing and soldering equipment. • Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines. • Repair worn parts of metal products by welding extra layers. • Clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch. • May perform other duties as assigned · Complete all required safety documentation • Working outdoors Apply for the Structural Welder position today!
