Mid-Level Carpenter / Tradesperson

Stonehaven Contracting is a growing residential construction company serving Quinte West, Brighton, Trent Hills and surrounding areas. We specialize in decks, additions, new builds, and a wide variety of home renovations. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to grow with our company. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid hands-on construction experience who enjoys working on a variety of projects and is looking for long-term employment with room to advance. What We Offer • $20–$25 per hour (based on experience) • Full-time, permanent position • 35–45 hours per week • Paid breaks • Flexible scheduling when possible • Opportunities for training and career growth • Variety of residential construction projects What You'll Be Doing • Assist with and complete residential construction and renovation projects • Build decks, fences, additions, and other carpentry projects • Perform a variety of interior and exterior renovation work • Read measurements, use hand and power tools safely, and produce quality workmanship • Work independently or alongside a team • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site • Communicate professionally with homeowners, suppliers, and coworkers • Complete work efficiently while meeting project deadlines Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of carpentry or related construction experience • Experience with residential renovations is an asset • Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation • Own basic hand tools (tool belt, tape measure, etc.) • Able to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work • Reliable, trustworthy, and motivated to learn • Willing to travel throughout Quinte West, Brighton, Trent Hills and surrounding areas • Flexible to work longer hours when project schedules require If you're looking to join a growing company where your work is valued and there is room to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
