What You’ll Need Tank building and/or repair experience (required)
Journeyperson card with any provincial governing body
Ability to pass 2G, 3G, 4G SMAW weld tests
Maintain 95-100% pass rate on weld X-ray/visual exams
Ability to read prints, follow written and verbal instructions
Willingness to travel and work frequent overtime
Fire retardant clothing (site requirement)
Ability to maintain clean shaven face for respirator fit
OSSA Regional Orientation or Common Safety Orientation
CSTS-20, WHMIS, OSSA/ESC Fall Protection, Confined Space, AWP
Fit test for North 7700 half mask
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, kneel, squat, climb, and work in confined spaces
Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods
Pass a weld test and drug & alcohol screen
