Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodstock, ON. The successful candidate will perform day-to-day mechanical service tasks such as installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems according to company standards and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, conducting inspections, documenting work performed, and communicating clearly with supervisors, team members, and customers. The role also involves following safety procedures, using tools and equipment properly, and assisting with project planning and coordination as needed. The candidate will be expected to contribute to a positive team environment and support continuous improvement in service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, or repair of mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work orders, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and safe tool/equipment use.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize tasks on-site.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Woodstock, ON worksite and surrounding areas, as required.
• Relevant trade certification, apprenticeship, or experience in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or related fields is an asset.
