Position Summary
We are on the lookout for a talented and licensed Journeyman Plumber with extensive experience in commercial mechanical construction. In this role, you will take on the crucial task of installing, assembling, and repairing plumbing systems in various commercial establishments, including schools, hospitals, offices, and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Install, inspect, and test assorted plumbing systems, such as water, gas, drainage, and vent piping.
• Install fixtures like sinks, toilets, water heaters, and pumps.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and company standards in all work completed.
• Work collaboratively with general contractors, other trades, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain safety procedures and adhere to OSHA guidelines at job sites.
• Provide troubleshooting and repair services when necessary.
• Mentor and support apprentices as needed.
Qualifications
• Current Journeyman Plumbing License (specific to your state).
• At least 4-5 years of experience in commercial plumbing.
• Proficient in handling various commercial piping systems (PVC, copper, cast iron, PEX, etc.).
• Capable of reading and interpreting construction documents accurately.
• Strong knowledge of job site safety and compliance standards.
• Physically fit to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in diverse environments.
