Electrician (Maintenance)

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician (Maintenance) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical components operate safely and efficiently, supporting our ongoing operations and infrastructure upgrades. Duties • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately install and repair electrical systems. • Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment, including troubleshooting issues with industrial machinery and building wiring. • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment to complete installations, repairs, and upgrades. • Install and maintain low voltage systems such as security alarms, communication networks, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). • Conduct renovation projects involving electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. • Diagnose electrical faults using schematics and testing devices; implement effective solutions promptly. • Assist in the installation of new electrical systems during construction or renovation projects, ensuring all work adheres to technical specifications. Requirements • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar maintenance electrician role. • Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems. • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. • Knowledge of low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial electrical components. • Construction experience involving electrical installation or renovation projects is highly desirable. • Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices for maintenance work. • Handyman experience or general construction skills are a plus to support diverse maintenance tasks.
