Tank Welder - Texas

We are looking for experienced tank welders for projects across the US. Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, Illinois, and Florida, long term! $32 an hour and up $150 a day per diem paid for 7 days 50 hours a week Paid weekly! We also offer a perfect attendance bonus of .50 cents per hour for every hour worked each week if you achieve perfect attendance!!! • Must be able to pass test- Carbon Steel Plate Test: FCAW (Flux Core) – 2G, 3G, 4G SMAW E6010 (5P) 3G, Downhill SMAW E7018 – 2G, 3G, 4G 9% Nickel Plate Test: FCAW (ENiCrMo3T1-4) - 2G, 3G, 4G FCAW (ENiCrMo-6) - 2G, 3G, 4G • Must maintain a 95-100% pass rate on weld X-ray/visual exams • Work will include pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 60 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools • Heavy lifting will often be required to perform tasks • Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures • Competitive compensation package • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance • 401k company match • Life insurance • Opportunity for advancement • EEO/M/F/Disability/Vets/Affirmative Action Employer FIELD TANK WELDER/FITTER PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for performing welding and grinding functions per job specifications. Selects equipment and plans layout and assembly of welding. Works closely and interacts with supervision. Works with precise limits and standards of accuracy. · Efficiently produce quality welds. · Perform or assist with fit-up and preparation of welds. · Perform or assist with post weld cleanup, inspection, and repair. · Communicate issues and concerns on the job site. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: · Must be able to pass test- 2G SMAW, FCAW 2G 3G & 4G plate tests. · Must maintain a 95-100% pass rate on weld X-ray/visual exams. Must be able to read prints and written instructions as well as follow verbal directions required to perform duties and responsibilities. Follow welding procedure specifications when welding. Rate pay will be established upon successful completion of weld test. Tank Building experience Must be able to perform tasks at heights. Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures.
