Job Description
Westcana Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to lead and coordinate on-site electrical construction activities in Kelowna and surrounding areas. This role is responsible for supervising crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with electrical codes, drawings, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily on-site electrical construction activities
• Lead electrical crews and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and productivity
• Ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code, site safety regulations, and company standards
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and 3D models
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other trades
• Plan manpower, schedule work, and track progress against project timelines
• Identify and resolve site issues, deficiencies, and scope changes
• Maintain accurate site documentation, reports, and as-built drawings
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce company safety policies
• Utilize construction management and documentation software for site coordination
Qualifications & Requirements
• Journeyperson Electrician with Red Seal Certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction
• Previous experience in a Site Supervisor or Foreman role preferred
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, and Revitzo 3D model software (or similar)
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license
• FSR designation is considered an asset

Pay: $38.39-$46.63 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
