SUMMARY OF POSITION
Welder (TIG) - Journeyman
Number of hires needed: 1-2
Regular Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
In this position, you will be welding various sheet metal parts, focusing heavily on electrical enclosures (UL50E). TIG welding is the primary welding done at Allied, and extensive experience is required.
Duties:
• TIG welding various assemblies
• Communicating with management and team
• Comply with all safety requirements, work rules, and regulations
• Maintaining clean and organized tools and stations
Allied will be offering full benefits after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, and an hourly rate of $35 an hour.
Ideal Candidates will Have:
• 1+ years of GTAW/TIG welding experience
• Ability to learn and adhere to procedures quickly
• Reliable transportation
• A detail-oriented mindset
• A positive attitude and work ethic
• Ability to interpret detailed shop drawings, artistic renderings, and conceptual drawings
Interview Process
Candidates will be booked for interviews. The interview will include a timed TIG welding test portion. Once a selection has been made for the position: successful candidates will receive a phone call with an offer; unsuccessful candidates who were interviewed will receive an email updating them of their application status.
