J2 Company, LLC is Full-Service electrical contractor with a primary focus on state and government facilities management, New construction as well as industrial control systems, including electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems. J2 is currently seeking Electricians who want to grow their career with award winning projects. They will have experience in general construction, commercial, and new construction. The electrician will be responsible for working alongside a team of electricians with integrity and a desire to do a good job. This person will be responsible for the installation and/or repair of electrical systems, mechanical systems conductors, and associated equipment for the assigned job site. The candidate will be responsible for personal safety, accident, and good work ethics for each project.
The ideal Electrician will include the following:
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Seasoned electrical experience
• Must be able to ensure compliance with OSHA safety, health, and quality standards
• Must be able to manage relationships
• Must be able to specify milestones for success and deliverables that are given to them per job responsibility
• Must maintain project awareness
• Will review work to ensure compliance with local, state and federal codes/regulations
• Must be able to take instruction and give instructions
• Must present growing leadership skills
• Must be able to communicate verbally and electronically
• Blueprint reading and planning
• Problem-solving and teamwork
• Manual dexterity and mechanical ability
Responsibilities:
• Participating in all field work activities and willing to work with tools when necessary
• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Maintain open communication with direct supervisors
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
• Management of field technicians and effective usage of time
• Timely material ordering and maintaining inventory of jobsite materials using knowledge of electrical systems and electrical construction
• Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and inventory of equipment and tools
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of electrical
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8000+ hrs)
• Maintain all licensing and training requirements
• Strong knowledge and application of National Electric Code (NEC)
• OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid trained
• Construction Quality Control
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
