SUMMARY Primoris Canada is seeking Journeyperson pipefitters to support a multiple long term projects at our fabrication shop in Acheson, AB. The project offers up to two years of work, providing longterm stability for qualified tradespeople . This position involve supporting small-diameter pipe spools from 2” to 12”and fabricated assemblies. Anticipated Start Date: April-May Location: Acheson, AB Shift: Dayshift 4x10s (Mon-Thurs. 6am to 4:30pm) with potential for overtime Inclusive Rate: $56.56/hr (Inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP matching, education, and training.) Hourly Rate: $45.30 JOB DUTIES • Perform pipe fitting activities in a fabrication shop environment • Fit pipe and components using Acorn, Spoolfab, and isometric drawings • Assemble and align pipe spools, flanges, fittings, and valves • Tack weld pipe components in preparation for welding • Utilize jigs, fixtures, elbow jigs, and external clamps to ensure accuracy and repeatability • Safely operate overhead cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment for material handling • Verify dimensions, tolerances, and fit-up to meet project and quality requirements • Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned work areas • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments • Comply with all company, client, and OH&S policies and procedures • Perform other fabrication-related duties as required QUALIFICATIONS • Registered Alberta apprentice or journeyman Steamfitter/Pipefitter (AIT recognized) • Valid CSTS-20 • WHMIS • Experience working in a fabrication shop preferred • Overhead crane operation and rigging experience considered an asset • Confined Space certification considered an asset • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive fabrication tasks • Strong attention to detail, quality, and safe work practices • Ability to work effectively in a team-based shop environment • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision BENEFITS • Retirement Savings Plan • Health and Dental • Employee & Family Assistance Program • Prescription Safety Glasses Reimbursement Program Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment.
