Job Description
## About This Role
At Jabil (NYSE: JBL), we're a trusted partner to the world's top brands, delivering comprehensive engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions. With 60 years of experience across diverse industries and a network spanning over 100 sites worldwide, we combine global reach with local expertise to create both scalable and customized solutions. We're committed to building sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact while fostering vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.
We're looking for a Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our Atlanta operations and take ownership of material flow throughout our manufacturing areas.
## What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products in our manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. This includes owning all material movement to stock—from dock to stock operations, material requisition orders (MRO), printed circuit boards (PCB), floor returns, and completing all system transactions via scanner or computer.
You'll also issue materials from stock, managing transfers, kits, manual pulls, and highly marketable parts (HMP), along with the associated system transactions. Accuracy is essential in this role, so you'll perform all transactions correctly and verify them whenever necessary. Cycle counting is part of your regular responsibilities, as is keeping your assigned area clean and organized.
Safety and compliance are non-negotiable. You'll adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position as directed by your supervisor, and you'll comply with all company security policies. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
## What We're Looking For
You'll need a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is an entry-level position, so we're open to candidates just starting their career in material handling and warehouse operations.
