We are currently seeking a motivated Sheet Metal HVAC Apprentice to join our field team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the mechanical trades. Position Overview As a Sheet Metal HVAC Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced Journeypersons installing, fabricating, and servicing HVAC and ventilation systems on commercial construction projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience while developing the technical skills required to advance through your apprenticeship. Key Responsibilities • Assist with the installation of sheet metal ductwork and HVAC systems • Measure, cut, fabricate, and assemble sheet metal components • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints • Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently • Support installation of equipment such as RTUs, make-up air units, and exhaust systems • Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times • Follow company safety policies and site-specific requirements • Work collaboratively with foremen, journeypersons, and other trades Qualifications & Requirements • Registered or working toward registration as a Sheet Metal HVAC Apprentice (any level considered) • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn • Ability to work in physically demanding environments • Basic understanding of tools and construction safety practices • Ability to read drawings is an asset • Reliable transportation to job sites • Safety tickets (or willingness to obtain): • CSTS / CSO • Fall Protection • Aerial Work Platform (asset) What We Offer • Competitive hourly wages based on experience and apprenticeship level • Opportunities for advancement and long-term employment • Supportive team environment with experienced mentorship • Exposure to large-scale commercial mechanical projects How to Apply Apply through Indeed or submit your resume directly.
