Plumber – Residential & Light Commercial Company: Comfort Plus Location: Brantford, Ontario Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, with on-call/overtime Compensation: $35–$45 per hour (based on experience) + benefits About Us Comfort Plus is a trusted provider of residential and light commercial HVAC services, now expanding into professional plumbing services across Brantford, Hamilton, Cambridge and surrounding areas. Our reputation is built on quality workmanship, honest service, and long-term customer relationships. We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber to help grow this new division. Position Summary The Plumber will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and fixtures • Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective, code-compliant solutions • Perform service work on faucets, toilets, water heaters, sump pumps, and piping systems • Complete rough-ins, renovations, and new installations • Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Building Code and local regulations • Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, options, and costs • Maintain accurate service records and job documentation • Work safely and maintain a clean, professional job site Qualifications & Requirements • Valid Ontario Plumber License (306A – Journeyperson) • 3+ years of residential or light commercial plumbing experience preferred • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and troubleshooting methods • Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently • Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Drain cleaning and diagnostic experience (snaking, camera inspection) • Experience in service-based roles (not just construction) Assets (Nice to Have) • Experience with tankless water heaters and hydronic systems • Cross-trade experience with HVAC systems What We Offer • Competitive hourly wage with overtime opportunities • Health and dental benefits • Paid time off and statutory holidays • Company vehicle provided for work purposes • Ongoing training and opportunity to grow within a new division • Supportive team environment with advancement potential How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume to Info@comfortplusheatandcool.com.
