Role and Responsibilities:
In the Forklift Operator - No Experience Required role, you will ensure the safe and effective handling of products and materials throughout our warehouse and production facilities. Your efforts help maintain operational efficiency and support the team in achieving production and distribution targets.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking product locations and reporting discrepancies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to streamline workflow and meet production objectives.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with company safety and quality standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Valid forklift certification with practical experience in warehouse or production environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to safety procedures.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull materials as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in snack food manufacturing, distribution, or similar facilities.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Additional material handling certifications or specialized training.
• Proven ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
