Commercial Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience reading blueprints and schematics, and a solid background in electrical work related to renovation, construction, and industrial environments. Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including lighting, wiring, and power distribution. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems. • Work with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation equipment. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks. • Assist with renovation projects by updating or upgrading existing electrical infrastructure. • Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work to ensure a safe working environment. • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet project specifications and deadlines. • Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems. • Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference. Requirements • Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. • Experience working with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. • Background in construction or renovation projects is highly desirable. • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices. • Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. • Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred.
