Pipe Fitter

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a skilled and motivated Class B Pressure Welder / Fitter to join their growing team in Calgary, Alberta. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability and growth. Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for production welding and fitting of standard and custom pipe and vessel assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience working with stainless steel and carbon steel, follows drawings with precision, and takes pride in quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: • Perform production welding using TIG, MIG, and Flux Core processes according to established parameters • Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to set up, tack, and weld components • Weld and fit stainless steel and carbon steel pipe and vessels • Fabricate custom products, jigs, and fixtures as required • Work closely with supervisors and lead hands to meet daily production goals • Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area • Follow all documented procedures and safety standards Qualifications & Experience: • Valid Class B Welding Ticket (Required) • Experience welding stainless using GMAW (MIG) • TIG welding experience on stainless and carbon steel (asset) • MIG welding experience on stainless and carbon steel pipe and vessels • Fitting experience on pipe and vessel assemblies • Overhead crane experience • Ability to work in a high-paced manufacturing environment Working Conditions • Manufacturing facility environment • Day Shift and Afternoon shift schedule INDPTC Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour Benefits: • RRSP match Experience: • Stainless Welding: 1 year (required) • Pipe Fitting: 1 year (required) • MIG welding: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: • Class B Welding Ticket (required) Work Location: In person
