Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator)

Job Description Job Description Description: We are seeking a Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) who will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials and products within the warehouse. Key Responsibilities · Safely operate forklifts to move and transport goods, materials, and products within the warehouse. · Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers using forklift equipment · Assist in picking and staging orders for shipment based on order lists and inventory records · Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders · Participate in inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records · Report on discrepancies or damaged goods to the Warehouse Operations Manager · Adhere to safety guidelines, regulations, and protocols while operating forklifts and handling Requirements: · Forklift certification and hands-on experience (required) · Flexible schedule, including weekends and extended hours as needed (required) · Experience in food distribution, logistics or export environment (preferred) · Ability to review documents and understand order details · Comfortable working in cold warehouse conditions for extended periods · Ability to stand for long periods, lift to required limits, and perform physical tasks
